IMG_0092Traveling through Europe in 2011 was a life-changing experience for me. It inspired me so much that I started this blog to document my travel experience. That led me to the world of blogging. Right after I started my journey/travel blog, I started a food blog, at guardmyhealth.wordpress.com.

Since first starting my blogs in 2011, I have become passionate about photography. I am actively trying to perfect my photography skills, and plan to share my work on this blog, as well as other social medias. Hopefully, in the spring of 2016, I plan another trip to Europe, visiting several countries. I look forward to sharing that visit also on this blog. Truthfully, this blogging thing is like therapy for me. That is really why I do it.

Also on this blog I have posted some of my writings under the category titled, “Journey’s Pathway.” I do not consider myself a great writer by any means, but for me, writing is a spiritual outlet that I enjoy. I can’t imagine anyone wanting to read what I write, but maybe it will be a blessing to others.

The main theme of my blog is, ‘Life is a Journey.” A quote by Jean Luc Picard says, “Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind, is not as important as how we lived.” While traveling through Europe I remember thinking to myself, “this moment I am experiencing will never happen again.”  And I wanted to grasp it and not let go of it.

Another quote says,”Life to me is a journey ~ you never know what may be your next destination.”  Today can never be relived again, because tomorrow brings a brand new day. And, if God allows me to see tomorrow, I have the confidence that He will walk with me every step of the way, until my journey’s end. Thank you for visiting my blog.
